ABOUT Monique

God has given Monique a unique assignment of calling the nations back to Himself.

As a gifted evangelist and Bible teacher, Monique credits the Holy Spirit with personally teaching her deep truths about the triune God’s character and His Word while refining her in the furnace of suffering for His purpose. Monique will tell you she learned from her spiritual mentor (whom she has yet to meet:) and favorite preacher, Dr. Tony Evans, that you don’t have to go looking for your purpose. If you seek God wholeheartedly in deep affection and intimacy, your purpose will find you and that is Monique’s testimony.

Jesus Christ revealed His special call on Monique’s life while she was in the crucible of suffering, divorcing and becoming a single mother to four beautiful children ages 13 and under. Yet even in the furnace of suffering, God was very much with Monique as her rescuer. God continued to bless Monique professionally, promoting her to leadership roles within healthcare marketing and communications. These opportunities allowed God to work through Monique mightily in various corporate America spaces.  Monique thought this was God’s assignment for her. She was wrong.

In 2017, God would disrupt her plans to enroll in a global MBA program at the University of North Carolina by calling her into ministry while she was attending a women’s conference at her church.

Through a series of powerful and providential events, including relocating with her four children from California to Maryland in 2018, Monique would soon discover that God’s plans for her were far greater and deeper than what she had planned for herself. Soon she found herself again being painfully stretched and transformed by the hand of God from the inside out. In 2021, God spoke to Monique, calling her to pursue a master’s degree in Evangelism and Leadership at Wheaton College in partnership with Propel Women.

Like Jesus’ release from His hidden years, El Emunah has refined and equipped Monique to proclaim His faithfulness, exalt the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to call people to worship Him wholeheartedly in spirit and truth.
